Team Word Fever Unmasked
With all our grandiose claims of being a crack team of copywriters, you might want to know who exactly we are.

Dale Hemme: Lead Marketing Editor and Expositor
The grizzled, hard-bitten and just occasionally sagacious half of the duo, Dale brings his many years of wide ranging experience in business and marketing to the table. In addition to having worked for almost three decades in the railroad industry in his native U.S., he has earned his copywriting stripes through scribing a vast array of commercial and legal texts – only sometimes in his own defense.
During his 5 years to date in Peru, Dale has combined writing and translation with English teaching and numerous corporate ventures, most significantly the development of an Internship program on behalf of the Business School at a major Lima university. Currently found honing his Spanish language skills through a degree in Education at the National University of San Marcos.
Kenneth Hermse: Lead Writer and Translator
Brimming with (relatively) youthful vigor, Kenny’s schooling in History at the University of Glasgow has instilled in him a passion for the flowery, arguably bordering on the pseudo-intellectual. You’re not unlikely to hear him boast of having won the Ewing Prize for Scottish History during his student days.
Kenny enjoys getting his teeth into journalistic ventures, contributing the odd article or opinion piece to a number of news-sites. In addition to this and other copywriting and translation projects, he has worked as an English teacher in Cuba, Thailand and now in Peru, where he has lingered longest. Certified in Upper-Intermediate level Spanish through the internationally recognized Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE), and currently bracing himself for the Superior level exam, considered the equivalent level as a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish.
We weigh your words
Our contrasting attributes are striking, making us an unlikely, but highly complimentary copywriting partnership; together, we bridge the Atlantic divide, meaning we’ve taken care of the two major variants of English in one fell swoop. With one of us (Dale) being twice the age of the other, we also span the generational gap. These, plus a whole host of other environmental variables mean that we’re two very different individuals and something of an odd couple business partnership, but by uniting forces we pool a wide range of distinct talents that, as far as copywriting and Spanish to English translation are concerned, means we’ve got a lot of bases covered. One thing’s for sure, there’s no other professional copywriting team quite like us in Peru, and probably in all Latin America.
